Goal
Create a set of playing cards within Figma with the capability of displaying, counting, and sorting while maintaining a structured theme that includes face cards and complimentary numeric cards.
Sketches
My inspiration came from an original character, an anthropomorphic lamp named Luz. While playing around with the card faces, in order to provide more distinction between the King and Queen, I reflected on how precious gems are often associated with genders.
Prototypes
While my first introduction within Figma, I prioritized functional organization and executed my first working prototypes. As shown, this is the primary prototype which controls the carousel and screen changes through user interactions. The most difficult aspect, however, was creating and user testing various iterations as to button placement and intuitive flows.
